Hi, well I haven't been adding anything for quite awhile. When we were in Yuma last winter, I took a One Stroke Painting Course at Michaels Craft Store. I had so much fun and Jeanne the teacher was very patient and encouraging so I am still painting. I love painting on Photo Storage Boxes and even sold a few at $15. each. The lids look so pretty all decorated. Candles are fun to decorate and watering cans, flower pots, jewel boxes and almost anything I can get my hands on. Now what to do with all this stuff. The ladies at my mom's lodge in Calgary like to buy some of it and also my embroidered cards so they don't have to worry about going out shopping for something a little different. That helps me out a lot and I always put up a table there when I go for a visit.

Wow I couldn't believe it! I visited my mom & dad in a lodge in Calgary and I sold 40 cards. The ladies there were very anxious to buy and want me to bring more back next time. How Nice!!

We had a wonderful time in Yuma and came back healthy and tanned. Now we have a cold. Oh well! It will pass. So good to see family and friends after being away. Now just have to get back to normal. Sold lots of bags, cart covers and fleece carseat covers before Christmas and time to get back into the swing of things for the spring craft sales.

Halloween is over! What a scary thought as that means Christmas is almost here. I am re-organizing my sewing room, which is totally necessary as I can't move in it because of my material stash! So more storage shelving for me! I've added Pointsetta Napkin rings to my collection of things to do. They are a bright and cheery addition. I better get at it as I have 2 orders for shopping cart covers and also a carseat cover to make. I have a craft fair lined up for early December too. My mom is 85 this year and making beautiful angels, crocheting and knitting up a storm and also taken up water color painting, so I have come by my love of crafting honestly.

Here is a sample of the totebags I am making from drapery and upholstery fabric. These can be used as purses, knitting bags, shoe bags, book bags or whatever you can think of. They have a small pocket inside to hold keys etc. I think I will charge $15. for the unlined ones and $20. for the lined ones. I have lots of color choices.

Fall is here and it's back to the sewing room. I have a couple of shopping cart covers that I need to get started on and my grandson needs a carseat cover. Now I just need to generate a few more orders. Also, have started making totebags out of drapery and upholstry fabrics. These are great for shopping or for storing your knitting projects etc.
